1. Promotion Overview
This competition is run by Jonathon Giannopoulos at Equable ("the Promoter"), Level 3, 170 Greenhill Road, Parkside, SA 5063, and is open to eligible participants who meet the entry requirements outlined below. A winner chosen by draw will receive A$10,000 deposited directly onto their mortgage.
2. Promotional Period
The competition will run from Monday 1 September 2025 to Saturday 31st January 2026. Entries must occur during this period to qualify for the competition.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this competition, participants must:
● Be aged 18 years or older.
● Be residents of Australia.
● Enter a valid mortgage settlement via Equable Pty Ltd and Jonathon Giannopoulos, between Monday 1st September 2025 and Tuesday 31st March 2026.
● Not be employees or immediate family members of the Promoter, related companies, or agencies.
4. Entry & Selection Method
Eligible participants will receive one (1) entry per fully settled Residential Loan (Owner Occupier or Investment) that involves a new security, within the promotion period with a minimum loan size of $250,000. Does not include split loans.
The live draw will occur on Monday 13 th April 2026, at the Equable office, Level 3, 170 Greenhill Road, Parkside SA, 5063 at 12:00PM ACST, with the winner to be notified via phone and email.
A random name generator will draw a winner at random, as per schedule 11, regulation 4(4) of the Lottery Regulations 2021. Independent verification will be undertaken to ensure compliance with draw fairness and eligibility criteria.
5. Nature of Prize
The winner of the competition will receive A$10,000 deposited directly onto their mortgage.
6. Transferability & Cash Redemption
Prizes are not transferable to another person or party without the express consent of the Promoter. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or any other alternative.
7. Prize Delivery
The prize will be deposited directly onto the competition’s winner’s mortgage within 30 days of the draw. Winner will be contacted by phone on the day of the competition and be notified in writing within seven days of the major prize draw.
The winner’s details (last name, first initial and postcode) to be published on Jonathon Giannopoulos’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, within 30 days of the major prize draw.
8. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this promotion at any time if circumstances beyond its control occur that might impair proper administration. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the participant in connection with this promotion. The Promoter takes no responsibility for technical or postal failures, nor with any complaints arising from incorrect or incomplete entry information.
9. Privacy
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of this promotion in accordance with the Promoters privacy policy. Client personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Information collected for the draw won’t be used for unsolicited promotions unless clients have opted in.
10. Responsible Conduct & ASIC Compliance
The promotion is conducted in accordance with ASIC’s Regulatory Guide 234 regarding advertising financial products and services. The materials used are clear, not misleading or deceptive, and contain disclaimers of eligibility and conditions prominently displayed Brokers must continue to observe the Best Interests Duty, ensuring that any loan advice or product remains suitable and in the client’s best interests, in line with ASIC’s Regulatory Guide 273 (RG 273) . Marketing must not create conflicts or influence credit advice in a way contrary to client interests.
